Colored Clay Baskets with Sarah German: Sunday June 7th 4-7pm

This workshop is open to all levels ages 18+. Sarah will teach her techniques for building colorful woven coil baskets in this hands-on workshop. Learn how Sarah lays out her architecturally inspired patterns and builds them through weaving coils to create delicate but strong colorful pieces. Students will learn how to color clay using stains, design and lay out their own basket pattern, and construct it while learning how to roll consistent coils, attach them to avoid cracking, and work with multiple colors of clay in one piece. You'll create the work, we'll glaze it for you! Work will be ready about 3 weeks after your class. Ages 18+ older
