Intermediate Specialty 6 Week Class: Surface and Glaze Exploration - Mondays 6-9pm - October/November/December

*NO CLASS WEEK OF NOV 24th* Intermediate (wheel or hand-building): Surface and Glaze Exploration Are you lost on how to finish your pieces? Does glazing terrify you? Students will learn all about surface decoration - pre and post bisque fire! We'll explore various underglaze techniques on both greenware and bisqueware. We will also do extensive glaze testing and learn different techniques for resisting, overlapping, and separating glazes on a piece. The small "test tile" pieces that we use to explore all of the techniques can be made on the wheel or by hand-building, so this class is open to all intermediate level clay students. 6 week classes include 5 hours of studio hours to use during your 6 week session. Clay is not included in your class price and will be purchased Mud Studio on the first day of class. A welcome email will be sent a few days prior to class starting. We provide all tools & there is nothing needed to prepare ahead of time. Can't make a class? We offer a make up option for 1 class, by using 3 additional studio hours! ***Must be 18 and older***
